During his creative life, Gianmaria Buccellati designed and produced various models of compact, all made precious by engravings and contrasts of gold colours.
He expressed his predilection for sophisticated accessories and dared new shapes and styles for objects, which were commonly intended to be hidden, now becoming objects to be shown.
This compact is enhanced with a “rigato” engraving departing from the very centre of the cover, and a mat-shaped border, composed of layers of cute picots, emphasizes its roundness. Inside the compact, we cannot miss a mirror to satisfy female vanities.
The central openwork motif is like a flower, set with 97 brilliant-cut diamonds, weighing 0,89 carats.
