The six citrines (46,19 carats) and the six amethysts (45,64 carats) set in this necklace alternate yellow and violet colours in a combination of great aristocratic inspiration.
Gianmaria Buccellati takes the risk of a non-obvious chromatic combination that becomes an example of big eccentricity. The stones are set into groups of yellow gold leaves, “segrinato” engraved, with shiny venations in red gold, held together by engraved yellow gold rosettes. The front drop-shaped pendant is composed of 10 leaves embracing the citrine of 35,66 carats.
The matching earrings have the same gold colours as the necklace, and two amethysts weighing 16,76 carats are set in the central red gold griffe mounting.
